Dental Exams & Cleanings
Dentistry is founded on the principle of prevention. All patients are recommended biannual cleanings and examinations.
Digital X-Rays
Unlike traditional X-rays that use film, digital X-rays use electronic sensors to capture detailed images instantly, with up to 90% less radiation exposure.
Fluoride Treatment
Fluoride is a mineral that helps remineralize tooth enamel and prevent decay. Fluoride not only helps prevent cavities but may also reverse very early tooth decay before it becomes a problem.
Gum Disease Treatment (Scaling & Root Planing, Periodontal Surgery)
Among the causes for periodontal (gum) disease are genetic susceptibility, smoking, and other illnesses like diabetes. Periodontal maintenance involves removing plaque and tartar from above and below the gumline.
Restorations
Restorative dentistry is all about bringing your teeth back to their best—restoring function, comfort, and appearance. Whether you have a cavity, a cracked tooth, or a missing tooth, we provide personalized treatment options using durable, natural-looking materials.
Composite (White) Fillings
Composite fillings are a modern, aesthetic solution for repairing teeth affected by cavities, minor chips, or wear.
Dental Implants
Dental implants are a long-lasting, highly effective solution for replacing one or more missing teeth. Whether you're missing a single tooth or an entire arch, implants can restore both function and aesthetics with unmatched reliability.
Porcelain Crowns (Caps)
A porcelain crown is a custom-made cap that covers and protects a damaged tooth, restoring its shape, strength, and appearance.
Gold Crowns, Inlays & Onlays
Gold restorations are biocompatible, precise-fitting, and extremely long-lasting. While not tooth-colored, many patients choose gold for its proven reliability and minimal wear on opposing teeth.
Fixed Bridges
A fixed dental bridge is used to replace one or more missing teeth by anchoring a false tooth to the natural teeth or implants on either side of the gap. Bridges are a dependable option for tooth replacement and they help restore both the function and aesthetics of your smile.
Dentures & Partial Dentures
Dentures are a removable solution for replacing missing teeth, allowing you to smile, eat, and speak with confidence again.
Root Canal Therapy
A root canal is a procedure used to treat infection or inflammation inside a tooth, often caused by deep decay, cracks, or trauma. Thanks to modern techniques and local anesthesia, root canals are comfortable and highly successful. They allow us to save your natural tooth and eliminate pain, avoiding the need for extraction.
Porcelain Veneers
Porcelain veneers are ultra-thin, custom-crafted shells that are bonded to the front surface of your teeth. Veneers offer a dramatic transformation with a natural look and feel. They’re a popular choice for patients seeking a long-lasting solution for a radiant, symmetrical smile.
Invisalign®
Invisalign is a clear aligner system that gradually straightens teeth using a series of custom-fitted, removable trays. It’s a discreet and convenient option for both teens and adults who want to improve their smile without traditional braces.
Sedation
We offer multiple sedation dentistry options to help you feel calm, relaxed, and comfortable during your treatment. All sedation options are administered and overseen by trained professionals with your safety as our top priority.
Extractions
Tooth extractions are sometimes necessary to protect your overall oral health. Whether it’s due to severe decay, infection, advanced gum disease, or crowding, we make the process as smooth and stress-free as possible.
Wisdom Teeth Extractions
Wisdom teeth, also known as third molars, often emerge in the late teens or early twenties—and they can cause a host of problems if there isn’t enough room in your mouth to accommodate them. We perform wisdom tooth evaluations and extractions with your comfort and safety in mind.
Child Dentistry (Pediatric Dental Care)
Healthy smiles start early! We love working with children and take a gentle, fun, and educational approach to dental care. Our team uses kid-friendly language and offers a warm, welcoming environment that helps reduce anxiety and make dental visits something to look forward to.
Dental Exams and Cleaning
Routine dental exams and cleanings are essential not just for maintaining a healthy smile, but for protecting your overall health. During a comprehensive exam, we assess the condition of your teeth, gums, jaw joints, and soft tissues. We look for signs of cavities, gum disease, wear, and alignment issues, and we also evaluate your bite to ensure everything is functioning properly.
Our professional cleanings go beyond what you can achieve at home. Using special instruments, we remove plaque and hardened tartar (calculus) that can lead to gum inflammation, bad breath, and tooth decay. We then polish your teeth for a clean, smooth feel that helps resist plaque buildup.
As part of every exam, we also perform an oral cancer screening. This quick, non-invasive check involves visually and physically examining your lips, cheeks, tongue, throat, and jaw for any suspicious lumps, patches, or sores. Early detection of oral cancer dramatically improves outcomes, and we take this step seriously during each visit.
We typically recommend exams and cleanings every six months, but patients with certain conditions—such as gum disease or high cavity risk—may benefit from more frequent visits.
What are some preventative measures I can take?
Brush with a fluoride toothpaste
Use a soft-bristled toothbrush after each meal
Floss daily before bedtime
Use an oral rinse after flossing
Avoid sugary foods, coffee, and tobacco
Digital X-Rays
Digital X-rays are a key diagnostic tool that allows us to see what’s happening below the surface of your teeth and gums. Unlike traditional X-rays that use film, digital X-rays use electronic sensors to capture detailed images instantly, with up to 90% less radiation exposure.
We use different types of digital X-rays depending on your needs:
Bitewing X-rays reveal cavities between the teeth.
Periapical X-rays show the entire tooth, including the root and surrounding bone.
Panoramic X-rays provide a full view of your jaw, wisdom teeth, and sinuses.
3D Cone Beam Imaging offers high-resolution 3D scans useful for planning implants or complex procedures.
Digital X-rays are fast, safe, and environmentally friendly. They allow us to detect problems early—often before you experience symptoms—and create precise, personalized treatment plans.
Are dental X-rays safe?
Yes—dental X-rays are very safe, especially with modern technology. We’re all exposed to small amounts of natural radiation in our daily lives, but today’s digital X-rays use much less radiation than older, traditional X-ray methods. Digital X-rays aren’t just safer—they’re also quicker and more comfortable for you. Because they don’t require film or chemicals, they’re also better for the environment.
Even though radiation exposure is minimal, we still take extra precautions to protect your health. We only take X-rays when they’re truly needed.
How often do I need dental X-rays?
It depends on your individual needs. Your dentist or dental hygienist will recommend X-rays based on your dental and medical history, current symptoms, age, and risk for dental issues.
If you’re a new patient, a full set of X-rays is typically taken to get a complete picture of your oral health. This set usually lasts three to five years. At your regular check-ups, we may take bite-wing X-rays (which show your top and bottom teeth together) once or twice a year to check for any new problems.
Fun fact: A single tooth x-ray is so low in radiation that it’s equivalent to eating 2 bananas
Fluoride Treatment
Fluoride is a mineral that helps remineralize tooth enamel and prevent decay. While many people get fluoride from drinking water and toothpaste, professional fluoride treatments offer a stronger level of protection.
During your visit, we apply fluoride as a varnish, foam, or gel—usually in just a few minutes. It’s especially beneficial for:
Children and teens during the cavity-prone years
Adults with exposed root surfaces or receding gums
Patients with frequent cavities, dry mouth, or orthodontic appliances
Seniors with weakened enamel or gum recession
Fluoride not only helps prevent cavities but may also reverse very early tooth decay before it becomes a problem. It’s a simple, effective way to add an extra layer of defense against oral disease.
Gum Disease Treatment (Scaling & Root Planing, Periodontal Surgery)
Periodontal (gum) disease is a common but serious condition that affects the soft tissue and bone supporting your teeth. It often begins with gingivitis—red, swollen, or bleeding gums—and can progress to periodontitis, where the gums pull away from the teeth and bone loss occurs.
We offer comprehensive care for all stages of periodontal disease:
Scaling and Root Planing: Also known as a deep cleaning, this non-surgical procedure removes plaque and tartar from beneath the gumline and smooths the root surfaces, helping gums reattach and heal.
Antibiotic Therapy: Local antibiotics may be applied directly to the gums to reduce bacterial infection.
Periodontal Maintenance: After initial treatment, patients typically return every 3–4 months for cleanings to keep the disease under control.
Surgical Treatment: In advanced cases, we may recommend flap surgery to clean deep pockets or regenerative procedures to rebuild lost bone and tissue.
Untreated gum disease can lead to tooth loss and has been linked to other health problems like heart disease and diabetes. Early intervention is key, and we’re here to help restore your gum health and protect your smile.
Restorations
Restorative dentistry is all about bringing your teeth back to their best—restoring function, comfort, and appearance. Whether you have a cavity, a cracked tooth, or a missing tooth, we provide personalized treatment options using durable, natural-looking materials.
Common types of restorations include:
Fillings: Used to repair small to moderate areas of decay.
Crowns: Full coverage caps that protect teeth weakened by fractures, large fillings, or root canals.
Bridges: Fixed prosthetics that replace missing teeth by anchoring to adjacent teeth.
Implants: Titanium posts placed in the jaw to support crowns, bridges, or dentures.
Inlays/Onlays: Lab-made restorations for larger areas of decay that don’t require a full crown.
We focus on preserving as much of your natural tooth structure as possible while providing strong, aesthetic results.
Composite (White) Fillings
Composite fillings are a modern, aesthetic solution for repairing teeth affected by cavities, minor chips, or wear.
Made from a tooth-colored resin, they blend seamlessly with your natural enamel.
Unlike silver (amalgam) fillings, composite material bonds directly to the tooth structure, often allowing us to preserve more of your healthy tooth.
Composite fillings are durable enough for both front and back teeth and can be shaped to match the natural contours of your tooth.
Ideal for patients who prefer a more natural appearance, especially in visible areas of the smile.
These fillings are placed in a single visit. We begin by gently removing the decayed portion of the tooth, cleaning the area, and then carefully layering and curing the composite resin to restore your tooth's strength and appearance.
Dental Implants
Dental implants are a long-lasting, highly effective solution for replacing one or more missing teeth.
Each implant is a small titanium post that is surgically placed in the jawbone to act as an artificial tooth root.
Over time, it fuses with the bone in a process called osseointegration, creating a stable foundation for a crown, bridge, or denture.
Implants look, feel, and function just like natural teeth.
Implants help preserve bone density, maintain facial structure, and allow you to eat and speak with confidence. Whether you're missing a single tooth or an entire arch, implants can restore both function and aesthetics with unmatched reliability. With proper care, they can last a lifetime.
Porcelain Crowns (Caps)
A porcelain crown is a custom-made cap that covers and protects a damaged tooth, restoring its shape, strength, and appearance.
Crowns are often recommended for teeth that are cracked, severely decayed, worn down, or have had root canal therapy.
Porcelain is chosen for its durability and natural translucency, which mimics real tooth enamel.
Each crown is carefully matched to the color of your surrounding teeth for a seamless look.
Crowns can also be used in cosmetic cases to improve the appearance of misshapen or discolored teeth. The process typically takes two appointments—one to prepare the tooth and take impressions, and another to place the custom-made crown securely.
Gold Crowns, Inlays & Onlays
Gold restorations have long been considered the most durable option in dentistry.
Gold Crowns: Ideal for back teeth, gold crowns withstand heavy chewing forces and wear down less opposing enamel than other materials.
Inlays and Onlays: These partial restorations are used when a filling isn't sufficient, but a full crown isn't necessary. They’re often recommended for preserving healthy tooth structure.
Gold restorations are biocompatible, precise-fitting, and extremely long-lasting. While not tooth-colored, many patients choose gold for its proven reliability and minimal wear on opposing teeth.
Fixed Bridges
A fixed dental bridge is used to replace one or more missing teeth by anchoring a false tooth (or teeth) to the natural teeth or implants on either side of the gap.
Bridges help restore your ability to chew and speak properly.
They maintain your facial shape and prevent nearby teeth from shifting into the empty space.
Made from strong and aesthetic materials like porcelain fused to metal or all-ceramic options, bridges are custom-designed for comfort and natural appearance.
Bridges are a dependable option for tooth replacement, especially when implants aren’t an option, and they help restore both the function and aesthetics of your smile.
Dentures & Partial Dentures
Dentures are a removable solution for replacing missing teeth, allowing you to smile, eat, and speak with confidence again.
Full Dentures replace all teeth in the upper or lower arch.
Partial Dentures are used when some natural teeth remain and are supported by clasps or other attachments.
Today’s dentures are more comfortable and natural-looking than ever before. We work closely with you to ensure a proper fit and appearance. For added stability, dentures can also be anchored with dental implants, reducing slippage and improving function.
Root Canal Therapy
A root canal is a procedure used to treat infection or inflammation inside a tooth, often caused by deep decay, cracks, or trauma.
During the procedure, the infected pulp is removed from the root canal system.
The space is cleaned, disinfected, and sealed with a filling material to prevent reinfection.
In most cases, a crown is placed afterward to strengthen and protect the tooth.
Veneers can instantly correct discoloration, chips, uneven spacing, or minor alignment issues.
They are made from high-quality ceramic that mimics the light-reflecting properties of natural teeth.
The process typically involves minimal tooth preparation and is completed in two visits.
Aligners are virtually invisible and can be removed for eating, brushing, and flossing.
The treatment is comfortable, with no wires or metal brackets.
Each set of aligners is worn for about two weeks before moving to the next stage in the series.
Invisalign is ideal for treating crowding, gaps, crossbites, overbites, and underbites. It’s a discreet and convenient option for both teens and adults who want to improve their smile without traditional braces.
Sedation
We understand that dental visits can be stressful for some patients. That’s why we offer multiple sedation dentistry options to help you feel calm, relaxed, and comfortable during your treatment.
Nitrous Oxide (Laughing Gas): A mild sedative inhaled through a small nosepiece. It helps reduce anxiety and creates a sense of ease during your appointment. The effects wear off quickly, so you can typically return to normal activities the same day.
Oral Sedation: A stronger, prescription sedative taken in pill form before your appointment. It helps you feel deeply relaxed—some patients even doze off—and is great for those with moderate dental anxiety. You’ll need someone to drive you to and from the office.
IV Sedation: Administered directly into the bloodstream for rapid and adjustable sedation levels. This is ideal for more complex procedures or for patients with severe dental fear. Under IV sedation, you remain conscious but very relaxed and may not remember much of the procedure. Monitoring is done throughout to ensure your safety.
All sedation options are administered and overseen by trained professionals with your safety as our top priority. Let us know your concerns, and we’ll recommend the best option for your needs.
Extractions
Tooth extractions are sometimes necessary to protect your overall oral health. Whether it’s due to severe decay, infection, advanced gum disease, or crowding, we make the process as smooth and stress-free as possible.
Before the extraction, we’ll thoroughly numb the area and, if needed, offer sedation options to ensure your comfort.
The procedure is performed gently, using specialized techniques to preserve surrounding bone and tissues.
Afterward, we provide detailed instructions for care and healing, and we’ll discuss replacement options, like implants or bridges, if needed.
We only recommend extractions when absolutely necessary and always explore alternatives first. Our goal is to help you maintain a healthy, functional, and beautiful smile.
Wisdom Teeth Extractions
Wisdom teeth, also known as third molars, often emerge in the late teens or early twenties—and they can cause a host of problems if there isn’t enough room in your mouth to accommodate them.
Common reasons for wisdom tooth removal include:
Impaction (teeth trapped under the gums or in the bone)
Crowding or shifting of other teeth
Infection or cyst formation
Decay in hard-to-clean areas
We perform wisdom tooth evaluations and extractions with your comfort and safety in mind. We’ll take digital X-rays to assess positioning, and we offer sedation options for a relaxed experience. Early removal often results in an easier recovery and helps prevent future complications.
Child Dentistry (Pediatric Dental Care)
